Trip-guida Sofia 2007

Sorpresa! Pensavate di trovare una fredda, vecchia e grigia capitale dell’Est europeo? Forse vi sembrerà  così durante i mesi invernali ma appena sboccia la primavera ecco la vera Sofia apparire come per incanto. Spazi verdi, locali all’aperto, giovani e voglia di incontrarsi ovunque, tra café e altro. Ora che la Bulgaria é entrata nell’UE (lo sapevate vero e sapevate anche che Sofia é in Bulgaria?) sarà  ancora più facile arrivarci. Ma fate in fretta…la città  sta cambiando marcia, presto potrebbe essere tutta sottosopra. E come per ogni Trip-Guida con questa partite, poi bisogna andare da soli.

PRIMA DI PARTIRE
Dicevamo UE, quindi carta d’identità  solamente e modello E 111 per la salute; per arrivare all’Euro ci vorrà  ancora un pò, il cambio é di 1 Euro = 1,9556 Lv. Le farmacie non mancano in caso di emergenza ma tenete comunque a portata di mano qualche generico per una febbre o una diarrea. Abbigliamento? Tenete conto che il clima sia italiano meno 3-4 gradi. Sempre utili impermeabile e un foulard/bandana per proteggersi dal vento.

ARRIVARE A SOFIA
Il flusso turistico sta aumentando, i trasporti stanno aumentando…dall’Italia il modo più comodo ed economico é l’aereo. Si stanno aprendo ora le rotte con numerose Low Cost, la prima a volare é Wizz Air . Se proprio in aereo non trovate allora il bus con Eurolines (www.eurolines.com) anche se dovrete sobbarcarvi un tot (24) ore di bus, quindi scorta di patatine e birra!!

L’aereoporto é a circa 10 km dal centro città  ed é diviso in due terminal. Il primo é per Bulgaria Air, Hemus Air,Viaggio Air e Cyprus Air (azz…Air…che fantasia Air…ecc..Air…), il secondo terminal per tutto il resto.. I due terminal sono collegati da un bus gratuito. Potete al massimo contare su un pasto frugale e niente più, la zona non offre molto. Per raggiungere il centro città  prendete un taxi, non dovrebbe costare più di 10 Lv (5E). Dal centro invece anda su Orlov Most (C-3) e prendete il bus 84 per il terminal 1 e il 284 per il 2.

SPOSTARSI A SOFIA
La città  é ricca di taxi, alcuni decenti, molti altri meno. La città  é quindi piena anche di taxisti, alcuni decenti, altri meno, diciamo dei cosmonauti piantati al volante che vedendovi stranieri cercheranno di fregarvi per arrotondare. I taxi ufficiali sono gialli ed hanno uno sticker ovale sul vetro. Normalmente dovrebbero anche esporre un riquadro con le tariffe. Molti proveranno a spegnere il tassamentro e farvi un prezzo a voce decisamente più alto, occhio. Le tariffe vanno da 0.50 – 0.60 Lv il giorno e poco più, 0.55 ““ 0.70 la sera e normalmente gli spiccioli di mancia sono ben accetti. La legge chiede vi diano anche una ricevuta ma la legge si sa…é fatta per essere fregata.

Per avere meno problemi possibili vi consiglio queste due compagnie: OK Supertrans (si lo so il nome é un pò così ma…tel. 973 21 21) e Sofiataxi (tel. 974 47 47)

Bus: la stazione, inaugurata nel 2004 é aperta 24 ore su 24 e vi potrete trovare di tutto per spostarvi sia in Bulgaria che in molte altre città  europee a prezzi favorevoli ed un servizio valido. Meglio dei treni.

Trasporti pubblici: tram e bus sono discreti ma non eccezionali specialmente se dovete uscire dal centro avrete difficoltà . Un biglietto singolo costa 0.60 Lv al botteghino e 0.70 sul bus. Un giornaliero costa 3 Lv, un mensile 37 Lv.

Metro: una sola linea utile solo per il centro, costo corsa 0.70 Lv.

DORMIRE A SOFIA
Potete trovare di tutto, dall’appartamento scaduto al bell’hotel secondo i vostri gusti e necessità .

City Hotels Ltd bul. Evlogi Georgiev 85, tel. 987 67 81, fax 987 67 81. Circa 30 buoni appartamenti in vari posti della città  e varie metrature. Prezzi a partire da 35 E a scendere a seconda del periodo. Buona qualità  prezzo.

Variety ul. Ioan Ekzarh 20, tel. 963 31 51, fax 866 15 57 Come sopra, circa 20 appartamenti di nuova reabilitazione; prezzi sempre a partire da circa 35 E. Il resto é a salire ma sbrogliarsi non é difficile.

MANGIARE A SOFIA
Mangiare a Sofia rappresenta l’ultimo dei problemi. Potete trovare di tutto locale ed europeo a tutti i prezzi. Per i più informali consigli da Divaka C-3, ul. Gladston 54, tel. 989 95 43, per le cene tipiche per assaporare il gusto di Sofia andate da Pri Yafata (il mio preferito, B-2, ul. Solunska 28, tel. 980 17 27, dai 5 ai 10 Lv) e Chemvenero, E-3, bul. Cherni vruh 31, tel. 963 03 08, chevermeto@chevermeto-bg.com, www.chevermetobg.com. dove per qualche Lv in più (dai 9 ai 22 Lv) rispetto ai primi dueavrete una serata divertente accompagnata da musica locale.

FUN A SOFIA
Se andate soli poco importa, ci metterete pochissimo a trovare compagnia e rilassarvi dopo le fatiche delle visite giornaliere. La città  é ricca di clubs e cafés dove la gente esce quando fa caldo e si rintana quando fa freddo ma non perde la voglia di conoscere e socializzare. Fino a mattina avrete da sbizzarirvi ma occhio sempre a non esagerare. Il mio consiglio? Cominciate da Lucky’s (C-5, bul. Tsar Osvoboditel 21, tel. 943 33 44) poi andate dove vi porta il cuore.

DA VEDERE A SOFIA
Tra lo storico ed il politico, tra bizantini e socialisti la città  é ricca, come ogni capitale. Le chiese Alexander Nevski, la Boyana e San Nicola (che qui é Babbo Natale, non dimenticatelo…) sono tre spaccati differenti di arte. Merita sicuramente una visita il museo archeologico che ha reperti notevoli, quelli che mancano un po’ al Museo di Storia Naturale, comunque da vedere perché completa la visita. Ben conservate le icone del passato socialista della Bulgaria, dal Momumento all’Armata Rossa al ponte della Fratellanza e altro ancora. Per appassionati e nostalgici.

Voici une guide base de SOFIA, capitale du BULGARIA. Cette guide ets pansé comme un prmièrè pas pour la preparation du voyage et le miuex arrival dans la ville. Aprés c’est à  vous de vous-debrouiller!!

Surprise ! Pensiez-vous de trouver une froide, vieille et gris capitale de l’Est europèen ? Peut-àªtre il vous semblera ainsi pendant les mois d’hiver mais dés qu’elle èclà´t le printemps voilà  la vraie Sofia apparaà®tre comme pour miracle. Espaces verts, locaux au plain air, jeunes que veul seulement se rencontrer partout, entre cafés et autre. Maintenant que la Bulgarie est entrèe dans l’EU (vous le saviez? et saviez màªme que Sofia est en Bulgarie ?) il sera encore plus facile y arriver. Mais fèes vite… la ville change vitesse, dans quelques anneé pourrait àªtre toute different. Et comme pour chaque Trip-guide demarré avec ces parties, ensuite vous pouvez aller tous seuls.

AVANT DE PARTIR Nous avon dit EU, donc piece d’identitè seulement et modéle Et 111 pour la santé ; pour arriver à  l’Euro il nous voudra encore un peu, le change est de 1 Euro = 1.9556 Lv. Les pharmacies ne manquent pas en cas d’èmergence mais tenez de toute faà§on à  portèe de main une quelque gènèrique pour une fiévre ou diarrhèe. Habillement ? Il faut tener compte qui le climat soit francais moins 3-4 degrès. Toujours utiles impermèable et une foulard/bandana pour se protègèr du vent.

ARRIVER à  SOFIA le flux touristique augmente, les transports augmentent… da la France le mode plus confortable et economique il est l’avion. On ouvre maintenant les routes avec nombreuses Low Cost, la premiére à  voler est Hemus Air. Autrement allez sur Bulgaria Air, a/r from Paris is 400 E. Si vraiment vous ne arrivez pas a trouver un billet d’avion allez alors sur le bus avec Eurolines (www.eurolines.com) màªme si vous devrez passer plusierès (24) heures de bus, donc faitez le plain de chips et biére !! L’aereoport est environ à  10 km de centre ville et est divisè en deux terminal. Le premier est pour Bulgarie Air, Hemus Air, Voyage Air et Cyprus Air (azz… Air… que fantaisie Air… ecc..Air…), le second terminal pour tout le reste. Les deux terminal sont reliès d’un bus gratuit. Vous pouvez au maximum compter sur un repas frugale et rien plus, la zone n’offre pa beaucoup. Pour rejoindre le centre ville prenez un taxi, ne devrait pas coà»ter plus que 10 Lv (5E). Da le centre par contre aller sur Orlov Most (c- 3) et prenez le bus 84 pour le terminal 1 et le 284 pour le 2.

SE Dà‰PLACER à  SOFIA la ville est riche de taxi, quelques dècents, beaucoup autres moins. La ville est donc pleine màªme de taximens, quelques dècents, autres moins, disons des cosmonautes plantès à  volant qu’en vous voyant ètrangers ils chercheront à  vous foutre pour arrondir. Les taxis officiels sont jaunes et ont un sticker ovale sur le verre. Normalement ils devraient màªme exposer un fiche avec les tarifs. Beaucoup èprouveront à  èteindre le taximetre et faire vous un prix à  voix dècidèment plus haut. Les tarifs vont de 0.50 – de 0,60 Lv la journeè et en peu plus, 0,55 – 0,70 le soir et normalement les getons de pourboire sont bien acceptes. La loi demande aussi au taximens de donner màªme une reà§u mais la loi on sait… est fait pour àªtre sauté. Pour avoir moins de problémes possibles je vous conseille ces deux compagnies :
OK Supertrans (on le sais le nom est un pò ainsi mais… tel. 973,21 21) et
Sofiataxi (tel. 974,47 47)
Bus : la gare centrale, inaugurèe en 2004 est ouvertes 24 heures sur 24 et vous pourrez vous trouver de tout pour y dèplacer soit en Bulgarie que dans beaucoup d’autres villes europèennes à  des prix favorables et un service valide. Mieux des trains.
Transports publics : tram et des bus sont discrets mais pas exceptionnels spècialement si vous devez sortir da le centre vous aurez difficultè. Un billet individuel coà»te 0,60 Lv au guichet et 0,70 sur le bus. Un pass journalier coà»te 3 Lv, un mensuel 37 Lv.
Metro : une seule ligne utile seulement pour le centre, coà»te cours 0,70 Lv.

DORMIR à  SOFIA Vous pouvez trouver de tout, de l’appartement expirèe au bel hà´tel selon vos goà»ts et necessitè.
City Hotels Ltd bul. Evlogi Georgiev 85, tel. 987.67.81, fax 987,67 81. Environ 30 bonnes appartements en differents places de la ville et plusieres metratures. Prix à  partir de 35 E à  descendre selon la pèriode. Bonne qualitè/prix.
Variety bul. Ioan Ekzarh 20, tel. 963.31.51, fax 866.15.57 Ibidem, environ 20 appartements de rehabilitation nouvelle; prix toujours à  partir environ de 35 E. Le reste est à  monter mais se dèbrouiller n’est pas difficile.

MANGER à  SOFIA Mangèr à  Sofia reprèsente le mineur des problémes. Vous pouvez trouver de tout local et europèen à  tous les prix.

Pour les dà®ners typiques pour savourer le goà»te de Sofia allez chez Pri Yafata (mon prèfèrè, b- 2, ul. Solunska 28, tel. 980.17.27, 5 ai 10 Lv) et
Chemvenero, et- 3, bul. Cherni vruh 31, tel. 963.03.08, hevermeto@chevermeto-bg.com, www.chevermetobg.com. où pour quelque Lv en plus (9 ai 22 Lv) respect ai premiers duex vous aurez une soirèe amusante accompagnèe de musique locale.

FUN à  SOFIA Si vous allez seul peu importe, vous nous mettrez beacoup à  trouver compagnie et vous relaxer aprés les fatigues de les visites journaliéres. La ville est riche de clubs et cafés où les gens il sort chaque jour et il ne perd pas l’envie de connaà®tre et socialiser. Jusqu’à  matin vous aurez de toutes choix mais faitez attention toujours à  ne pas exagèrer. Mes conseilles? Commencèes par Lucky’s (c- 5, bul. Tsar Osvoboditel 21, tel. 943,33 44) ensuite allèes où il vous porte le coeur.

à€ VOIR à  SOFIA Entre le historique et le politicien, entre bizantines et socialistes la ville est riche, comme toutes capitales. Les èglises Alexander Nevski, la Boyana et San Nicola (qui ici est Papa Noel, ne le l’oubliez pas…) sont trois brisès diffèrents d’art. Il mèrite sà»rement une visite le musèe archèologique qui a des reperti considèrables, ceux qui manquent un peu au Musèe d’Histoire Naturelle, de toute faà§on à  voir parce qu’il compléte la visite. Bien conservèes les icone du passè socialiste de la Bulgarie, du Monument à  l’Armèe Rouge au pont de la Fratelance et d’autre ancore. Pour passionès et nostalgiques.

This is a base guide of SOFIA, capitol city of BULGARIA, This is thinked as a “first step” for your better arrival in Sofia, then it’s up to you!

Surprise! You thought to find one cold, old and grey Capitol of the East European ? Perhaps it will seem you during the winter months but as soon as it the spring blooms here the true Sofia to appear like for spell. Greens spaces , premises to the open, young people that want to meet young people, among café and other. Now that Bulgaria has entered in the UE (do you know it ?!? and you know also that Sofia is in Bulgaria) it will be much easier to arrive there. But be quick… the city is changing speed, soon could be all totally different!
And like for every Trip-Guide start with this, then go alone.

BEFORE LEAVING Well, we said UE, identity card only and model E 111 for health; in order to arrive to the Euro Bulgarian need a little more time, actually the change is 1 Euro = 1,9556 Lv(1 £ = 2,8849 Lv) The pharmacies do not lack in emergency case but bring with you some generics for one fever or one diarrhoea. Dresses? Please refer to England climate less 3-4 degrees. Always useful raincoat and a foulard/bandana against the wind.

ARRIVING in SOFIA the tourist flow is increasing, transports are increasing… from England the more comfortable and economic way is the airplane. Many routes with Low Cost are being opened now, and take a look on Wizz Air (from Luton g/r 95 £) and Bulgaria Air (g/r 170£ from Heathrow) . If you cannot found with the plane check with the bus at Eurolines (www.eurolines.com) even if you much spend a lot of hours of travel!! Look for supply of beers and onion flavoured chips!! The aereoporto is approximately 10 km from the city center and is divided in two terminal. The first one is for Bulgaria Air, the Hemus Air, Travel Air and Cyprus Air (azz… Air… that Air fantasy… ecc..Air…), the second terminal for all the rest. The two terminals are connected from a free bus. You can only get a simple meal and nothing more, the zone does not offer a lot. In order to reach up the city center take a taxi, would not have to cost more than 10 Lv (5E). From the center instead go on Orlov Most (C-3) and you take to bus 84 for terminal 1 and the 284 for the 2.

MOVING in SOFIA the city is full of taxis, some decent, many other less. The city is full also of taximen, some decent ones, other less, sort of cosmonauts landed on taxis that seeing foreign they will try to you cheat you in some way. The official taxis are yellow and have one oval sticker on the glass. Normally they would have also to expose a chart with rates. Many of them will try to extinguish the taxmeter and make you a price to voice more high, eye. The rates go from the 0.50 – 0,60 Lv the daytime and little more, 0,55 – 0,70 evening and normally small coins are less as tip. The law asks to give also a receipt but you know…law is law….. is made in order to be burned. For not having little possible problems I conseil these two companies:
OK Supertrans (I know the name is a little strange but… tel. 973 21 21) and
Sofiataxi (tel. 974 47 47)
Bus: the station, inaugurated in 2004 is opened 24 hours on 24 and you will be able to found all in order moving in Bulgaria and in many other European cities to favorable prices and a valid service. Better of railways.
Public transits: tram and buses are quite good but not exceptional especially if you must exit from the center you will got difficulties. A single ticket costs 0,60 Lv to ticket office and 0,70 on the bus. A daily pass costs 3 Lv, a monthly one is 37 Lv.
Tube: one single useful line only for the center, run costs 0,70 Lv.

SLEEPING in SOFIA You can find all, from the apartment to the beautiful hotel according your tastes and necessity. For a cheap apartment room look here:

EATING is SOFIA Eating in Sofia represents the last of the problems. You can find all of European dishes and to all prices.

For typical Bulgarian diners in order to savour the taste of Sofia goto Pri Yafata (my favourite one, B-2, ul. Solunska 28, tel. 980 17 27, from the 5 to the 10 Lv) and Chemvenero, E-3, bul. Cherni vruh 31, tel. 963 03 08, chevermeto@chevermeto-bg.com, www.chevermetobg.com. where for adding some Lv (from the 9 to the 22 Lv) you will got a full immersion evening with tipycal local music bands.

FUN in SOFIA If going alone nothing matters, It’s not difficult. The city is rich of clubs and cafés where people love to meet other people, every month, every day. Until morning you could have all the choice you want but watch out to not overboard!. My tip? You can start at Lucky’ s (C-5, bul. Tsar Osvoboditel 21, tel. 943 33 44) then follow your heart.

TO SEE in SOFIA Between the historical and politicals buldings, between bizantium history and Socialism the city is full of places to visit. Churches Alexander Nevski, Boyana and San Nicholas (San Nicholas here is..:”Santa Claus”..don’t forget it!!) are three amazing different examples of art. The archaeological museum deserves a visit with a lot of historical fragments, those that lack a little to the Museum of Natural History, however to see because it completes the visit. Very well conserved are the icons of socialist past of Bulgaria, from the Red Army Momument to Brotherhood Bridge and others else. Fordreamers and nostalgics
